FACE OF THE WEEK: Juan Aguilera, A Passionate Force in Entertainment
In the dynamic world of entertainment, few individuals embody passion, resilience, and artistic integrity like Juan Aguilera.

As a multifaceted actor, entertainment producer, and the head of an Artist Management PR firm, Juan has dedicated his career to helping fellow artists thrive while carving his own path in the industry.
His journey into entertainment wasn’t meticulously planned—it evolved organically. What started as assisting industry professionals soon led to starring on television, magazine features, and more. Reflecting on his career, he acknowledges that each step has prepared him for the moment he’s in today.
Overcoming Fear & Staying Motivated
Like any ambitious artist, Juan has faced challenges, but he identifies fear as the biggest obstacle. Instead of allowing it to hold him back, he’s learned to use it as fuel for motivation, taking small, intentional steps toward his goals. His deep passion for entertainment keeps him driven, ensuring that there’s always something new to explore, learn, and master.
When asked about success, his definition is simple yet profound—inner peace. While many chase external validation, Juan believes that fulfillment comes from within. He continues to set new goals, but his current focus is on being present, appreciating the journey, and embracing every moment.
The Role of Spirituality & Giving Back
Spirituality is the foundation of his daily routine. Whether through meditation or prayer, he stays grounded and centered. His commitment to balance is a work in progress—he understands the importance of work but is also learning to prioritize self-care, hobbies, and personal connections.
Beyond his own career, Juan finds immense joy in uplifting others. Through his Artist Management PR firm, he gives undiscovered talent exposure, helping them realize their dreams. He sees the arts as an act of giving, where inspiring others through creative expression is one of the most rewarding aspects of his work.
Lessons, Regrets, and a Bright Future
His philosophy in life is to see failures as lessons rather than setbacks. He embraces the timing of every life experience, believing that lessons come exactly when they’re meant to. His proudest achievement isn’t just his professional success but his ability to live his truth from an early age.
As for the future, he envisions growth—both personally and professionally. He remains open to new opportunities, adapts to change with ease, and stays committed to trusting the process.
Final Words of Wisdom
One of the greatest lessons he’s learned is to never take things personally and to always remain gracious—a trait people will remember. His favorite quote by Maya Angelou sums up his approach to life:
“When you know better, you do better.”
Through his art, mentorship, and unwavering determination, Juan Aguilera continues to make an impact in the entertainment industry, proving that true success is not just about fame but about creating a lasting legacy.

Exclusive Interview with Juan Aguilera
Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you do?
I am an actor, and I work in production for entertainment projects. I also run my own Artist Management PR firm. I started working and assisting industry professionals in the business, and I learned so much. I love helping fellow artists.
What inspired you to pursue your career or business?
Everything was organic, and one thing led to another. I went from being an assistant to starring on television, in magazines, and more. It’s very interesting to look back on my journey. But everything has prepared me for the moment I’m in.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career/business, and how did you overcome it?
I think the biggest challenge is fear. However, I’ve learned that fear should never prevent me from achieving my goals; in fact, it should be what motivates me. Taking baby steps is always okay—it’s important to be gentle with oneself.
How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?
“I’m fortunate that I’m passionate about what I do. The entertainment business is always changing and growing. So there’s never time to be bored, only time to be focused and motivated.”
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your career/business journey so far?
That you don’t have to be great at everything. But you do have to know your strengths.
How do you define success?
Feeling inner peace.
What is your biggest dream, and how are you working towards achieving it?
I don’t know, to be honest. I’m always setting new goals, and I have achieved a lot of them. My goal right now is to be present and be in the moment I’m in—not worry too much about the future.
How has your faith or spirituality played a role in your career/business?
Spirituality is important to me. I meditate and pray every day. My spiritual practice is the one thing that really grounds and relaxes me.
How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
I’m learning about balance right now. I think it’s the lesson I need to learn. Work is important, but so is time for oneself and having time for hobbies.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field?
“Work hard first, and eventually, you will reap what you sow. It’s a universal law.”
What is something that people often misunderstand about your work/business?
Perhaps that it’s ego-driven. But I find that not to be true. The arts are really about giving back, letting others be inspired by your work so they, too, can work on their craft.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your work/business?
I’m lucky enough, with my company, to give talent exposure and help their dreams come true as well.
What is something that you’re passionate about outside of your work/business?
I love connection. Being around people I truly love means everything to me.
What is the most valuable skill you have learned in your career/business?
To not take things personally.
What is something you wish you knew when you were just starting out in your career/business?
To always be gracious—people won’t forget that about you.
How do you deal with failure or setbacks?
There’s no such thing as failures—just lessons.
What is one thing that you have accomplished that you’re most proud of?
Living my truth from an early age.
How do you give back to your community or make a positive impact in the world?
I give back by expressing my art to inspire others. But also, with my company, working with other talent to help them achieve their goals.
What is your biggest regret in life?
No regrets—just lessons learned.
Do you have a favorite quote? What is it?
“When you know better, you do better.”
