Tell us about yourself

My name is Sierra Brooks. I grew up in Pasadena CA. Went to college in Oregon. I have a huge passion for fitness, business development, and helping people. My biggest passion is human resources which I’ve been in for 10 years. I’ve turned into an expert and I have a huge passion for helping companies flourish through my professional services.

What is your favorite thing about yourself?

My favorite thing about myself Im relentlessly try to improve my business and my mental health. I love challenging myself to a high capacity. Sometimes that can include  self-help books, therapy, and mental exercise. I truly feel like the more you put into yourself the bigger and better the outcome.  Another favorite aspect I love about myself is my passion and love for God, always seeking to get closer and greater according to divine timing and outwardly seeking him.

What separates you from others who do what you do?

What separates me is my ability to feel and want to do better. The only way you can do better is to remain humble and always take accountability. In order to be a great CEO, daughter, friend, sister, etc it’s always about loving yourself inwardly and starving to be better day by day.

I’ve been in Human resources for 10 years; I’ve had my business since 2020

If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Explain why.

Fun, Compassionate, Driven.

FUN: Im always the life of the party; rather its at work or just meeting new people

Compassionate: I have the most amazing ability to empathize, and feel. I love human connection and understanding people to help them strive for their purpose

Driven: When I want something I will get it! Im naturally competitive its my nature.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wouldn’t, I am wonderfully made by GOD.

Describe your daily routine.

7 am (pray, bible, meditate) 9 am (workout + exercise) 10 am (check emails) 10:30 am- 7 PM (Client calls, meetings, enhancing company’s with my HR services, + new business outreach ) Rest of the time I read a lot of books, check IG time to time (socialize with friends and family)

Who is your role model? Why?

My God mom Trenise. Why, she is the epitome of a lady. She is humble, kind, beautiful, loving, and giving. Without her, there would be no inner beauty of Sierra. I’m truly appreciative of her kind words to me each and every day.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Growing my HR consulting service; Efficient Recruitment. I see myself being one of the biggest minority ran HR consulting services in Los Angeles. I take my craft extremely seriously and I plan to help small businesses run efficiently.

If you could give a bit of significant career advice to your younger self, what would you say?

Keep striving, Stay Motivated, People are People; some can be negative and positive but, I don’t take it personally. Constantly try to grow and elevate. Criticism is well-needed in my industry; always learn!

What has been your career highlight until now?

Launching my business and growing my clientele.

What is the best advice you received that changed your life?

Don’t take things so personally and learn.

What professional skill makes you stand out in your field of work?

My communication and excitement; I want to learn and grow.

What is your number one goal for 2023?

 To grow my HR consulting service, vacation, explore life, and constantly evolve internally

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS has launched a new initiative called “Face of the Week,” which aims to showcase the achievements of men and women who are making an impact in various fields, including entrepreneurship, entertainment, education, communication, and more. Many of these faces of the week will also be honored at the Crownys, which are the DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS Awards and where all the faces and people who worked or partnered with DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS will be celebrated. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to give recognition and exposure to individuals who are making a positive difference in their respective fields.

The initiative will culminate with the release of a printed magazine in December for the Face Of The Year.

By highlighting the achievements of these individuals, DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS hopes to inspire and encourage others to pursue their passions and make a positive impact in the world.
