Professionally known as P. Gordy, Harris Brown is a multi-genre American music producer whose work spans hip hop, R&B, pop, and country. A Mississippi native now based in Los Angeles, P. Gordy brings a rare combination of musical expertise and entrepreneurial vision shaped by real-world industry success.
After serving 10 years in the U.S. Military, Harris relocated to Los Angeles and quickly established himself within the music business. He worked closely with Claude Wesley, Master P, and Brian Turner at Priority / No Limit Records, contributing to an era that produced 25 Gold and Platinum albums through his work in marketing, radio, and street promotions. Those formative years gave him a deep understanding of what turns a record into a hit — knowledge he still applies today.
Beyond music, P. Gordy became a defining force in Hollywood nightlife, earning a reputation as one of the city’s most influential promoters. From legendary venues like Century Club, Supper Club, Playhouse, Lure, OHM, The Attic, The Roxbury, and White Lotus, he brought together tastemakers, celebrities, and power players — and was among the first to revolutionize bottle service culture in Los Angeles.
In 2009, Harris elevated his impact by becoming an owner and operator, co-founding The Show: An After Hours Affair alongside Vincent “King Show” Coffey. The venue quickly became a discreet hub for Hollywood’s elite, cementing P. Gordy’s reputation as a curator of culture and energy.
During the pandemic, Harris transitioned fully into music production, managing platinum-level producers such as PressPlayy, Big Dez, and Knotch, before stepping behind the boards himself. This evolution led to the creation of B.A.G. Entertainment, an all-in-one entertainment company built on his unmatched ear for crowd response, artist development, and sonic impact.
