Fremont, a city located in the East Bay of San Francisco, has been named the “happiest” city in America for the third year in a row, according to a recent study.

The study, conducted by WalletHub, compared over 180 cities across the country on a variety of factors, including emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment.

Fremont ranked high in several categories, including having the lowest poverty rate in the nation and the highest percentage of adults who exercise regularly.

Mayor Lily Mei expressed her pride in the city’s accomplishment, saying,

“Fremont is truly a wonderful community that offers its residents a high quality of life. We have a strong sense of community and are dedicated to creating an environment that is safe, healthy, and welcoming.”

The news has also been met with enthusiasm from residents, who have taken to social media to express their love for their city.

One Twitter user wrote,
