In a conversation for 7th the Face of the week, the Genius behind a multi-million dollar project talks about life purpose, faith, family, and his 2023 biggest goal.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Tell us about yourself?
Of course, my real name is Didi. I was named after my father’s big brother, a very influential and powerful Angolan politician. Felipe Neto Dimbondwa. So, all the family, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, and real friends call me Diddy. Actually, Adiddy… Let me explain. When I was a kid I couldn’t say Didi, I was saying: My name is Huhdidi and it ended up by Adiddy, everyone in the family started calling me Adiddy.
I am a successful serial entrepreneur, and an expert in communication, education, and entertainment. Citizen of world, so I speak 6 Languages.
Father of the Holy trinity, my daughters Priceless and Richness, and my son Goodness aka Mvuama, and happily married to the love of my life Santana Diddy.
Who is Dizzy Diddy?
Well, my big brother Picchu used to call me Young Dizzy so I mix it up with Didi and became Dizzy Diddy. I used to go by Dizzy Diddy so is it still me. And the industry knows me as Dizzy Diddy. But now from 2023, y’all can call me D.Z.Y. Shorter and better, new year, new me. Haha
Dizzy Diddy is DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS now right? The platform. You know it took years to build that brand and now I am putting all the power and influence that comes with in favor of other people. Still in the mission baby! God’s plan.
What’s the meaning of Dizzy Diddy?
Dizzy Diddy have a strong meaning and I keep it secret, I was born on September first… It’s all I can tell you. Do your own research and come back to me.
What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My favorite thing about myself, it’s me! I love myself and I know I have a good heart.
What separates you from others who are in the same industry?
What separates me from others is my ability to make things differently. I dare to be different, Look at the Face of the week cover…Haha I don’t follow trends. With time I realized that my thoughts are always right… If I decide to do something, I will do it well. I’m the trendsetter!
Who is your role model? Why?
My role model is my big brother Alex Okosi. I had the privilege to meet him a lot of times. He is a proven international media/tech executive with 20+ years of experience building successful global businesses and brands. He is the man that brought MTV to Africa, BET international and currently, he is the managing director of EMEA Emerging Markets at YouTube. A legend right? Big bro, I LOVE YOU!
What is your biggest lifetime accomplishment?
Good question. My family, wife & my kids. This is priceless! Also, to be in a position to help others, you know I am the kind of person people call to get advice or help. And God simply uses me to show people their mission and the right direction to take. In other words, I’m very proud to know my life’s mission. You know many people don’t know the reason why they are here. And the only way to know it is to be close to God. That’s The one thing I’m proud of.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Since I represent God, He made me in His image and He is the one living in me, I will go with Jireh, Rapha, and Nissi.
Jireh, meaning “God will provide.”
Rapha, “The God that heals.”
And Nissi, “The Lord is my banner.” The Warrior God.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’m a perfectionist; Perfectionism is a life blockage… I am already working on it. Doing things the way they are, don’t wait for everything to be perfect to start, start now!
Who is the best person you met in your life?
I met a lot of people of beautiful people. I won’t be able to pick just one person.
What is the most important lesson you learned in life?
The most important lesson I learned in life is To Stay Humble.
“Sometimes the boss is not the one with the bottle, is the one with a glass… Stay humble!
Sometimes the boss is not the one on the red carpet, is the one behind the camera, or the celebrity manager Stay humble.
Most of the times the boss is not the one in a tie and suit, is the one in a black dirty t-shirt and flip-flops ….So stay humble.
Treat everybody well, and do not sleep on anybody. We never know what can happen tomorrow. A real boss can plug you into something that can change your life in a minute. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!”

What is the best advice you received that changed your life?
I love reading so I read once: Everything you can imagine is real. Since I have been printing everything from my mind to real life. You should try.
What is the best advice you can give to someone who wants to be a successful serial entrepreneur like yourself?
Put God first, He will take care of the rest. Fail doesn’t kill, try several things, give back and believe in yourself. When it comes about your dreams, do not listen to anybody, even your parents. Unless they are already doing what you would like to do. It takes a lot of courage to take an idea from a paper and give it life. I am sorry to say it, be selfish, work smart, sometimes hard and be consistent and persistent! In other words hack your brain. If I did it, they did it, you can do it!
If you could give a bit of significant career advice to your younger self, what would you say?
Adiddy, I’m proud of you but do not be naïve! You can’t trust everybody… Keep Chasing your dreams. Look at you today, you did it! God is good!
Tell us about one event that had a big impact on you.
The pandemic had a big impact on me and I’m thankful. I spend a lot of time with my family and I had enough time to think about what I really want in life and like I said before my relationship with God took a deeper level.

What is the best movie you watched in 2022?
I’ll be honest with you, I watched that movie on Netflix and I really loved the content, I think the name of the movie is “Missing.” Yeah was a nice one!
New York or L.A.?
LA for sure, I live in LA, and I love LA. Paris, and LA are my favorite cities. I don’t have much to say about New York, but love the cultural vibe.
Money or Love? Why?
I already faced this situation in real life and I took Love. Have you ever heard that? When you find a real love is like printing your own money. Haha But today, I am going with MONEY.
What do you think is your worst quality?
I won’t say that I am anti-social because I am the sweetest person you will meet, but sometimes, I enjoy so much being by myself. It’s addictive!

What is the best gift you received in 2022?
Gift of love, life, and family. But if we are talking about something physical I gifted myself a book. I really love books 📚🫶🏾

My family, close friends, grandmas, and nannies for the kids on a paradisiac island like Bora-bora with 24/7 service for us. That’s a blessing! COMING SOON…

“I am a gifted person; I know it since I was a child. I know it’s a blessing but sometimes you can feel lonely when normal people don’t see things the way you see. That’s my first time telling it. DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS you got me!”

It was missing my life purpose, but now I know my mission. God bless people through me, that’s it. So you better be my friend! God is the greatest!

“I’m living my biggest dream, serving God, talking about God, walking with God… Everything else I already own through the God I serve. Holly Spirit!”
What type of music do you love the most? Why?
I do not have a particular type of music I love most. Lately, I only listen to Gospel Music. It strengthens my faith.
What is your biggest dream for the world?
Peace, love and unity. A better world!
What is your number one goal for 2023?
First of all 2023 is one of the best years of my entire life. Therefore, It will be like this forever. My number one goal was to Be on DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS, so here we are!

I already live in the perfect place. My family and I are blessed to Live in California. The USA is our home! And I am proud to say it. In God We Trust! God bless America (In Barrack Obama’s voice for sure!) Haha
