The multi-day celebration will bring together scholars, faith leaders, community advocates, and global changemakers for a series of events honoring individuals whose work is shaping communities around the world.

The program will begin with an Opening Reception on Friday, March 20 at 5:30 PM, hosted by Attorney Arthel McDaniel at the prestigious Polsinelli Law Offices in Century Plaza Towers in Los Angeles. This gathering will welcome graduates, honorees, and distinguished guests for an evening of networking, reflection, and celebration as the academic festivities officially commence.

The highlight of the weekend will take place on Sunday, March 22, during a special Agape Church Service at the historic Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. Graduates will attend the service wearing their academic robes before the PhD Ceremony, where distinguished individuals will be recognized for their leadership, humanitarian work, and contributions to society. Following the ceremony, attendees will gather for a dessert reception celebrating the honorees and their achievements.

The ceremony is closely connected to the mission of United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI), an institution that partners with organizations worldwide to recognize leaders and innovators who are creating meaningful change. UGCSI works alongside initiatives such as The Black Agenda, a national movement founded by Dr. E. Lance McCarthy, which focuses on economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and building generational wealth within communities.

Through programs that bring together business leaders, investors, philanthropists, and community advocates, The Black Agenda seeks to address systemic economic challenges and create long-term opportunities. Its initiatives include Suit Tank, a pitch competition connecting entrepreneurs with investors; Wealth & Legacy Conferences, which provide strategies for wealth creation; and Honorary Doctorate recognitions celebrating individuals whose leadership is making a measurable difference.

At the center of this global movement is King Dr. Clyde Rivers, Chief Chancellor of United Graduate College and Seminary International, whose leadership continues to expand the institution’s international reach. Through collaborations with organizations such as iChange Nations, UGCSI has developed a global network committed to honoring humanitarian leaders, strengthening communities, and encouraging excellence in service and leadership.

Events like the TBA Beverly Hills PhD Program highlight the intersection of education, faith, and social impact, reminding attendees that scholarship is not only about academic achievement but also about service and purpose. The honorees recognized during the ceremony represent individuals who have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of others, building stronger communities, and inspiring future generations of leaders.

As Beverly Hills prepares to host this prestigious gathering, the program stands as a reminder that recognition of leadership and commitment to global change continues to unite visionaries across disciplines and cultures.
