The 3rd Annual Afro Awards 2024 is set to take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the prestigious Directors Guild of America (DGA), located at 7920 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, California. This highly anticipated event aims to honor individuals and organizations from diverse backgrounds for their outstanding contributions to humanity and their positive impact on global society.
As a recognized non-profit organization (501(c)(3)), the Afro Awards strives to celebrate the achievements and generosity of those who have made significant differences in the African diaspora and beyond. The evening will kick off with a glamorous red carpet event at 5 PM, leading into the awards ceremony at 7 PM. Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to enjoy an exclusive after-party starting at 10 PM. For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be streamed live, allowing audiences worldwide to participate in the celebration.
In addition to the main event, there will be a pre-event on Friday, October 11, 2024, featuring an engaging conference experience, a fashion show, and a gala dinner. This pre-event will set the tone for a weekend filled with inspiration and recognition.
