Charlie Kirk, Conservative Activist and Turning Point USA Founder, Shot and Killed at Utah College Event

Orem, Utah — September 10, 2025 — Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA and a national conservative media figure, was fatally shot today while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University (UVU). He was 31 years old.

Kirk was hosting his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table as part of his American Comeback Tour, when gunfire erupted. Witnesses say he was struck in the neck. Nearby attendees describe chaos as people fled in response to the shots. The event took place outdoors on campus.
