After being left with a crazy season finale, Bel Air fans are buzzing with excitement with the drop of the trailer for Season 2 of the peacock original hit the internet last week.

If you don’t know about Bel Air then let me spill the tea on the hit show. The series premiered on Peacock with 3 episodes so February 13, 2023, with new episodes dropping every Thursday. It quickly became the most streamed original series on Peacock breaking records in customer obtainment, viewership, and upgrades.

Bel Air is a spin-off of the popular 90s sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” but with a more dramatic effect. The show highlights the challenges of Will’s transition from West Philadelphia to the hills in Bel Air while navigating through emotions, childhood trauma, lies, family feuds, and growing pains.

Season one had an emotional ending as Will met his father and discovered the truth about why he was absent in his life with the help of Geoffrey. Uncle Phil makes the tough career decision of dropping out of the race for District Attorney. However, Aunt Viv accepts the art fellowship of her dreams. Things continue to get heated between Jazz and Hilary, but sparks flew when she introduced him to her partner, Ivy. Will continues to attempt to get back on Lisa’s good side and the family begins to struggle with Geoffrey’s absence.

Season two will pick up right where we left off, with Will attempting to navigate his heavy emotions dealing with his family drama. It looks like a new figure who challenges everything he’s learned while in Bel-Air may come into his life. Although Will and the Banks family struggle to rebuild trust, Carlton and Will grow closer despite their differences. Hilary’s career begins to excel as an influencer but will the influencer world affect her love life at home with Jazz?

Tatiana Ali better known as “Ashley” from the original Fresh Prince has been added to the cast along with Brooklyn McLin (Cloak & Dagger), Riele Down (Darby and the Dead), Jazlyn Martin (All American: Homecoming), and the icy girl herself Saweetie.

Will the Banks family come back from all the drama? I guess we will have to wait and find out on February 23rd! For now, check out the official trailer for a sneak peak at Season 2 of Bel-Air below.
