Andrew Tate’s long-awaited Misfits Boxing debut didn’t go the way he or his supporters hoped. On Saturday night in Dubai, Tate was beaten by reigning Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor, who earned a hard-fought majority decision after six intense rounds.

Coming into the fight, Tate was a strong favorite. Despite being away from professional competition for more than five years, his combat sports background and confidence had many expecting a statement win. Early on, it looked like that prediction might come true.

Tate started fast. Using speed and sharp movement, he targeted DeMoor’s body with quick jabs and controlled the opening rounds. DeMoor appeared slow to settle, swinging big but struggling to land clean shots as Tate dictated the pace.

That changed as the fight wore on.

By the third round, DeMoor found his rhythm. The champion began using his size and strength more effectively, catching Tate late in the round and shifting the momentum. From there, the fight turned into a test of durability.

Rounds four and five were DeMoor’s strongest. He pressed forward aggressively, unloading heavy shots and repeatedly connecting with a damaging right uppercut. In the fifth round, Tate absorbed a massive uppercut that nearly ended the fight. He stayed on his feet, but it was clear he was in trouble.

To his credit, Tate showed toughness, surviving the storm and making it to the final bell. But DeMoor’s late dominance proved decisive.

After six rounds, the judges awarded the bout to Chase DeMoor by majority decision, handing Tate a painful loss in his Misfits Boxing debut and cementing DeMoor’s status as the division’s champion.

For Tate, the fight was a reminder that ring rust and size disadvantages matter, especially against an active, battle-tested opponent.
