Powerful Father’s Day Service at Believe Church LA’s Sunday Service
Believe Church LA held a remarkable Father’s Day service on June 18, 2023, where Pastor Aaron, alongside Adrien Lindsey and other guest speakers, delivered powerful messages of love, encouragement, and faith.
The service began with a dynamic worship session, setting the stage for Pastor Aaron and Adrien to step forward and share heartfelt words in honor of Father’s Day. They offered prayers and extended their wishes to all the fathers in attendance.
Following the worship, Pastor Corlandos Scott and Tamara Scott joined the stage to warmly welcome everyone and make important announcements. They highlighted upcoming events like the Discovery Track 2023 and the availability of the Believe LA Church App on both the Apple Store and Android platforms. They also mentioned the special online Sunday service scheduled for the following week.
Engaging the congregation, a thought-provoking question was posed: “Would you rather be fluent in every language or a master of every musical instrument?” This sparked conversations and reflections within the church community.
Pastor Aaron reappeared on stage to wish fathers a Happy Father’s Day once again and announced that after the service, numerous activities were prepared for families to enjoy together.
During the “5 minutes of fire” segment, three men of God, including Derek Folk, shared their powerful life testimonies, inspiring the audience with stories of overcoming adversity through faith.
Justin Howard, the lead singer of the church, took the opportunity to deliver encouraging words to men, emphasizing the importance of taking responsibility and being present as fathers.
Pastor Corlandos Scott addressed the congregation, acknowledging that while anyone can be a father, it takes dedication and love to be a dad. He offered comfort to those who may have experienced challenges with their own fathers, highlighting the importance of a heavenly father’s role in our lives. His testimony touched the hearts of many, reminding them that their destiny is not defined by their past but by God’s calling and purpose.
Concluding the service, Pastor Aaron shared powerful words of encouragement specifically tailored for men. He encouraged them to embrace their masculinity, emphasizing that real men are not simply born but made through life’s experiences and challenges. He challenged the men in attendance to be the father figures they never had and to continue making the right decisions for the well-being of their children.
The service ended on a hopeful note, reminding everyone that fathers are the first reflection of our Heavenly Father to their children. The congregation left inspired, determined to move forward and live out their roles as fathers with love, strength, and grace.
