From Karate Champion to Hollywood Star: The Journey of Robert Feldmaier
Born in Nuertingen, Germany, Robert Feldmaier discovered his passion for martial arts at a young age, inspired by legends such as Jean Claude van Damme and Jason Statham. He pursued his love for the sport and achieved his black belt in Shotokan Karate, competing in nationwide tournaments.
Feldmaier’s acting skills caught the attention of Warner Bros, and he landed a role as a Nazi journalist in the feature film “When Hitler stole pink Rabbit.” The movie, based on the autobiographical book by Judith Kerr, tells the story of a Jewish family fleeing Berlin after the Nazi election in 1933.
In 2019, Feldmaier took a leap of faith and moved to California to pursue his acting career. He took acting classes and started producing his own movies, with “Visa Issues” winning and being nominated for 22 awards. He also starred in “The Runner” and was part of the cast in “Miranda’s Victim,” which recently premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Feldmaier credits his success to the support of his parents, Producer and Director Michelle Danner, and God, who he believes has placed all the right people in his life to help him on his journey.
“I love the journey and all the people I have gotten to know and work with,” says Feldmaier. “And this would not have been possible without the support of my parents, Michelle Danner, and, of course, God.”
