Face of the Month: Dr. Lance talks about Black Wealth, Business in the CHURCH & Empowerment of Black People
Dr. E. Lance McCarthy is a nationally recognized Faith Based Economist and Investment Advisor, with a specialty in urban development. Dr. McCarthy has assisted non-profit organizations, churches, corporations, professional athletes and cities with economic development and financing plans. His public policy research, Fortune 100 experience, entrepreneurial endeavors and non-profit initiatives give him insight into our nation’s most pressing problems. Most recently Dr. McCarthy has been appointed National Economic Advisor for Faith Driven Consumer, the organization which represents more than 41 million Faith Driven Consumers in the United States, who collectively spend $2 trillion annually. Dr. McCarthy will be working with corporations to assist them in working with the Faith Driven Consumer. He also represents faith-based funding sources that have provided $1 billion dollars in investments for churches nationwide.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Tell us about yourself
I am an artist who happens to be a businessman. Hence, an economist creates and analyzes business. My entire life has been in assisting others through their dreams of business, especially those of African descent.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What is your favorite thing about yourself?
I’m very creative. This allows me to see things others can see.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What separates you from others who do what you do?
Usually an Economist is a Professor and or Analyst.
I’m unique in that I do research and I also execute projects from my research.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: How long have you doing what you do?
I started research in the 90’s appointed to President Bill Clinton’s Economic Conversion Task Force. I’ve been consulting every since.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Explain why.

Creative – I’m a MASTER in Connecting the DOTS. I can connect things other can’t in Business, Fashion, Art, Music etc.

I’m TOO Nice. I love helping people, but you can’t help EVERYONE !

I meet with clients and get where they want to go with their businesses.
I draft documents and proposals for clients.
I lecture and speak on many topics.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Who is your role model? Why?
Rev. Cleophus Rebinson.. He was my Pastor growing up. He taught us faith, business, marketing , music and sky’s the limit. I get my swag, speaking and business acumen from him.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Expanding my consulting practice globally with at least 100 countries
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What are your hopes and dreams for yourself in the coming 10 years?
To change the Economic plight of African Americans Globally and increase BLACK WEALTH.
DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: If you could give a bit of significant career advice to your younger self, what would you say?

I love that my research is shared globally on theses prestigious platforms.

That you may live in a city but you are a global citizen.
You can run around in your city or you can run around the world.
More opportunities are global.
