BMF has been renewed for Season 3 on Starz
BMF fans all over the world can celebrate as Starz has announced that the hit series is set for a third season. On January 6th season 2 returned to our screens and ran up over 4.1 million views across multiple platforms over that weekend. With numbers like those the urgency to renew for season 3 is obvious, it’s a hit!
Starz’s president of programming, Kathryn Busby spilled some tea on the show’s speedy renewal. “BMF’ captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before,” she said.
Following such a strong debut with season two, we’re thrilled to continue to expand on the incredible story of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by writing their own rules. We can’t wait to see what our extraordinary producers and cast deliver next.” -Kathryn Busby
Now if you’re late to the party and haven’t watched the show here is the tea. Executively produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, BMF is a show inspired by the true story of Demetrius “Big Meech” (played by his son) Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who founded the most influential crime organization called the Black Mafia Family. The sitcom shows us how the two brothers went from living in poverty in Detroit in the 80’s to living a lifestyle that influences the entire hip hop culture.
BMF airs every Friday on Starz, make sure you catch up before new episode tomorrow!
