Face Of The Week: Mr.Officials the genius who created the first ever life-size Nipsey Hussle wax figure

An Ohio-based creative known as Mr. Officials is the mastermind behind the new artwork that he revealed took him just under a year to design. “Watch me make the first-ever life-size Nipsey Hussle wax figure,” wrote the artist in an Instagram post accompanied by a video of the process. “ In conversation with Mr. Officials, he talked about his faith, going viral, and told us a secret.

I am the nicest person you’d ever meet. I love people. I am a teacher, father, mentor, designer, sculptor, creator, educator, Christ loving artist!

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What is your favorite thing about yourself?

I’m spontaneous at times, I’ll try anything once (well mostly anything)

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What separates you from others who do what you do?

What separates me from my competitors is I’m the first to ever do it, creating on another level, most of my creations are one-of-ones. My one of a kind pieces are helping me pave the way for the next generation of creatives.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: How long have you doing what you do?

I’ve been doing creative things since I was a young child. I believe since I was 5 or 6.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Explain why.

Three words that best describe me are KING OF CREATIVITY, simply put, I am a king who loves to create.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? 

If you could change one thing about myself, what would it be to give myself a little grace. Sometimes I’m a perfectionist and I’m too hard on myself.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Describe your daily routine. 

My daily routine is prayer, shower, breakfast and coffee, running errands, working and creating, the gym, meal prepping and eating, 3D printing, watching “how to “YouTube videos then bed.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Who is your role model? Why?

My role models are my Pastor and Tyler Perry because these two men and the examples of God fearing go getters who have started from the bottom with their gift and uses them well.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

In Hollywood being in movies or in Cleveland directing small films, or maybe opening Ohio’s first Wax Museum.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What are your hopes and dreams for yourself in the coming 10 years?

To travel the world teaching and speaking at Creativity Expos and being in Netflix series and documentaries.

 DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: If you could give a bit of significant career advice to your younger self, what would you say?

TRUST YOURSELF not the people around you!

Creating my first wax figure, creating my first selfie museum and my first Air Jordan 1.

I have a background in education, so I am able to teach in a comforting and entertaining way.

DIZZYDIDDY+PLUS: What is your biggest lifetime accomplishment?

Owning property is the biggest lifetime achievement.

Traveling to different states in the  US to workshops that pertains to what I do.

I went viral and people would come up to me asking me am I “ that Nipsey Hussle guy”

It would be extra, depending on who it is, it’ll look like a circus or amusement park with all of the favorite things they like.

Gospel music is my favorite because it reminds me of how good God is.

Yes, my favorite shoes are yeezys and the breed 11’s But my recently favorite shoe is are the ones I made last year. Custom snake skin and elephant printed leather Air Jordon 1’s

I have no opinion, I rarely listen to new music

My ideal fictional character would be a black single parent father who’s an attorney by day and crime fitting hero by night. A super hero who saves the world by spitting truth and justice.

Some place warm and sunny everyday with great food and live entertainment at night. Maybe Vegas
