Meet Ann<\/strong>, a DJ<\/strong>, producer<\/strong>, and Berklee College of Music<\/strong> graduate, whose journey in music has been one of discovery, transformation, and relentless dedication. Originally from Taiwan<\/strong>, Ann moved to California during middle school and has since embraced the dynamic music scene, which led her to make a bold move to Los Angeles<\/strong> in January<\/strong> to pursue music full-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her story is one of passion<\/strong> and perseverance<\/strong>. Ann began her musical journey as a drummer, initially set on becoming a performer. However, everything changed when she discovered the world of electronic music production<\/strong>. This new medium sparked a deep connection within her, and she dove headfirst into Berklee’s Electronic Music Production & Sound Design<\/strong> program, opening doors to a whole new side of music that spoke to her on a personal level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ann’s music<\/strong> is primarily rooted in future bass<\/strong> with influences from house<\/strong>. What sets her apart is her ability to craft emotional melodies<\/strong>, paired with energetic beats<\/strong> and powerful chords<\/strong>, creating an uplifting, inspiring, and transformative listening experience. For Ann, music is not just a career\u2014it\u2019s a way to process emotions that words can’t always capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “EDM has always had a huge impact on me<\/strong>,” Ann says. “It\u2019s uplifting, inspiring, and has this way of helping me process emotions that I can\u2019t always put into words<\/strong>.” Her sound is all about evoking feeling<\/strong>\u2014from moments of calm<\/strong> to a rush of energy<\/strong>. With each track, she invites listeners to connect with something deeper and feel the freedom that music brings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While studying at Berklee<\/strong>, Ann had the opportunity to DJ<\/strong> across the East Coast<\/strong>, where she quickly realized her love for connecting with audiences through music. \u201cThose experiences really solidified how much I love connecting with people through sound<\/strong>,\u201d she reflects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now based in Los Angeles<\/strong>, Ann is ready to take her career to the next level, diving into the bustling music scene and bringing her emotional and energetic sound to a larger audience.
