From there, Lil Drawz, alongside his close friend and collaborator Brother Dave, began to hone their craft, making music that resonated with their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Working out of a church where they couldn\u2019t curse, they persevered and created music that felt genuine and powerful, despite the challenges. Their first songs laid the foundation for what would become a series of musical projects with Brother Dave. Soon after, Lil Drawz\u2019s boy, Chad, brought a laptop into the mix, and they started recording and producing from there. The drive didn\u2019t stop at just making music\u2014they even set up a studio in the housing projects, where they were dedicated to their craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, life in the projects wasn\u2019t always easy. The makeshift studio they created in the heart of the neighborhood was broken into, and their equipment was stolen. But Lil Drawz and his team didn\u2019t let that stop them. They adapted, networking and finding new ways to continue their music journey. Their passion for creating music led them to connect with industry professionals and eventually work with renowned artists, proving that hard work and resilience could break through any obstacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, Lil Drawz\u2019s music stands as a testament to his experiences growing up in Watts, and he\u2019s poised for even greater success.
