The fashion icons of the industry can now begin to prepare for the most anticipated fashion event of the year as the tea for the 2023 Met Gala has been released. What is the Met Gala you ask? The Met Gala is an annual charity event that takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This event accompanies the biggest A-List celebs and challenges them to dress according to the selected theme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year the theme is\u201cKarl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty\u201d honoring the late Karl Lagerfeld. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t know about Big Karl then allow me to spill a little tea!
Karl Lagerfield entered the game as a fashion designer, creative director, artist, and photographer in 1983. During his career, he assisted Pierre Balmain and designed ready-to-wear and couture lines for Chanel, his label (Karl Lagerfield), and Fendi. Bringing his photography and filmmaking skills to the table, Lagerfeld also regularly shot and creatively directed all of Chanel\u2019s advertising bringing the designs to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we all know the co-chairs have to bring the best-themed looks to the carpet, and this year we have Dua Lipa, Roger Federer, Penelope Cruz, and Michaela Coe. Will they successfully slay A Line of Beauty on the first Monday in May?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An even better question is will Rih-Rih be in attendance? I guess we will have to wait for the spring to find out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
